raindrops.

Part of the fun of being a freelancer is never really knowing what your week is going to look like.

One day you're literally at the office, the next you're holding an anaconda snake (this actually happened) and sometimes you end up in a flash mob.

This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to dance with some of the ladies in my dance troupe at the launch of a new rain wearstore, Raindrops TO, in Yorkville.

This store has much more than a normal selection of rainwear - think rhinestone-encrusted and ruffle-topped umbrellas, motorcycle-inspired rainboots and coats with leather, leopard and metallic details.

Sticking with the theme, we performed to a mashup of "Umbrella" and "Singing in the Rain" - we figured because it was the store launch, it wouldn't mean too much bad luck to open up umbrellas inside.

Keep your eyes peeled on CityLine and ETalk this upcoming week - we modelled these outfits for a segment airing next week.

The next day, it was back behind the camera for me, but it's interesting to work on both side of it. Each gig and event I work at helps me pick up some ideas for how to interact/make the process smoother for those on each end.

Here are a few photos from the event:

Make sure to have an umbrella handy this weekend - it's supposed to be a wet one!
