I am so pleased to report that after braving the Toronto real estate and apartment scene, I have just signed a lease for a unit!

It wasn't easy - I had fully accepted that I might be couch surfing for September because the bidding wars and lineups at units was ridiculous. One of my mantras from my dance director rings true in all facets of the life, including real estate:

"Keep you head, heels and standards high."

Thank goodness I did, and now I'll be making my little nest in the Annex for another year.
