It's one of the most wonderful times of the year - New York Fashion Week. Although I'm in full fall 2010 mode, busting out leopard print and running around in my boots already, the Spring 2011 collections are delicious. After carefully following designers and blogs on Twitter and regularly checking out Style.com, (i.e. Mecca of fashion shows, and free to browse!) we're seeing more ladylike silhouettes, preppy details and more architectural cuts and pieces as emerging trends.

I'm still such a sucker for anything rocker-chic, but it's nice to see it off the runways a little bit, and the use of gold and interesting fabrics in without being overloaded with studs and metal.

Pictures include looks from Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Anna Sui. I'm currently obsessed with Rodarte's blue shoes - in my opinion, they are the best every season. I'm working on getting more from the Marc Jacobs show and some other designers, so be sure to check back!
