lest.

One of my clients posted an amazing quote on their Facebook wall yesterday that really struck a chord with me.

Lest we forget why we have the opportunity to chase our dreams.

I feel like I have been at a very interesting crossroad in my life - I've been studying, analyzing and embracing every opportunity and what not that has come my way, and am making the changes of what's best for me.

Looking back, this wasn't the option at all for our ancestors, or even our parents/grandparents.

I'm taking a moment to remember today. Remember the fallen, those who gave me the opportunity to be better, reach further and go deeper into making my dreams come true.

I won't let them down.

Lest we forget.

surprise.

"May your coming year be filled with magic, dreams and good madness.

I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful.

And, don't for get to make some art (write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can).

And somewhere in the next year, I hope you surprise yourself."

van.

I'm back Toronto!

I know people say that time flies when you're having fun, and that absolutely applies to the past 12 days. I had the time of my life emceeing, teaching and brainstorming some new projects in both Kelowna and Vancouver.

I wholeheartedly believe in taking chances and jumping at opportunities when they present themselves, and this trip was no exception.

More than ever, my training in time management, flexibility and improvisation kicked in to help me throughout various situations during this trip. This allowed me to plant some great project seeds, and I  can't wait to see what they grow into on the west coast.

A couple huge shout outs the people who helped make some incredible things happen:

Reflections Dance Studio
The Vibe Dance Competition
Jessica Hurd
Vanessa Young and AOS Vancouver
Lucy Hazelwood and Luki Dance Productions
and of course...Mom & Dad

Thank you for supporting me as I chase after my dreams, no matter where they take me or how wild they are.

vibe.

I have some big news for y'all.

I've booked my flight and I'm very excited to announce that I am going to be the emcee at this year's The Vibe Dance Competition in Kelowna, B.C.!

Besides hosting the competition from May 2-5, I will also be choreographing a short routine for the "Audition Dance Off" t
o be performed for our judges that weekend.

I'm very excited to be a part of The Vibe team and see the performances by dancers from across B.C. and Alberta.

Check out more information about The Vibe Dance Competition here.

Needless to say, I'm breaking out the champagne and having a little celebration - have a beautiful rest of the weekend!

mantra7.

"Take the years when you’re young – say, between the ages of 15 and 35, before you have mortgage or kids or anything else that needs to be fed.

Go balls out on intuition and follow your dreams.

Dreams won’t always take you on a straight path to destiny, but they’re usually related to what your soul wants for you.

They’ll force you to ask yourself the hard questions, they’ll kick your ass, and most importantly, they’ll turn you on.”

How lovely is this little video? What a cool way to look at life and chase after a dream.
