Just a few bits and pieces of what I'm into at the moment. Have a good Saturday evening.

B&W.
These ladies.
When I was a little girl, I remember my parents getting all dressed up to attend the Black and White Ball in downtown San Francisco.
My mother appeared in the kitchen (where my brothers and I sat at our high counter munching away on supper) in a floor length gown similar to Blake Lively's above. Whenever I hear the words "black and white" that image of her immediately pops into my head.
Sometimes, people do get a chance to attend a fancy Cinderella-esque ball.
Just a thought. Happy Monday friends.

"It's true, you are terrible at a lot of things.
But there are a couple of things that nobody else does as well as you do.
It drives me bananas that you will throw yourself away completely because of one or two things that you are wrong about you.
That's what breaks my heart.
You got to ignore those and lean towards the things that make you yourself.
Forget everything else. Fake it. Fake your way upwards."

"The gods envy us.
The envy us because we're mortal, because any moment may be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed.
You will never be lovelier than you are now.
We will never be here again."
- Troy
And on that note, I'm off to enjoy the weekend. Happy Friday friends.

10things.
Is it spring yet? I promise with my whole heart to never complain again about the weather being too hot after how chilly this past winter has been.
However, yesterday was the epitome of why I love living in the city. After shooting (long overdue) head shots, my good friend and I ended up on a wild goose chase and to a fashion show in Liberty Village.
Tina Fey said the secret to success is to just say yes. In a world where we are so busy and things move faster than ever, it's all about balance. You need to know when to say no, but when the opportunity comes up, just take it and run.
Thinking about it, nine out of 10 times, I'm happy I took the risk.
This weekend, I'm challenging myself to keep saying yes.
