cruz.

Someone once told me I looked like Penelope Cruz when I had long hair. I died a lot inside.

I finally watched Vanilla Sky the other night - very interesting take on the Sci-Fi genre, especially because the special effects and what not were so different 11 years ago.

I loved how much the film focused on emotion, not technology to tell a scientific (but also romantic) story.

Not unlike Requiem for a Dream, but that is in a whole other category whatsoever.

Hope you are enjoying the long weekend! It's lovely here in Toronto - I'm off to soak in some sun!

Notice anything a little different about the blogette?

Big, crazy but very, very fun day at work. Got to file information to Ottawa and work on the national budget in Canada (especially with us now losing the penny - more to come!)

I also have some fun news of me going from behind the camera producing segments to potentially in front of it for a segment next week. Stay tuned here and to my Twitter for the latest updates.

PS my new banner is compliments of my friend Hayley Sherman, a material arts and design student studying at OCAD in Toronto.

Have a great rest of the week!
