I am thrilled that old-world dancing and singing is making its way back into modern entertainment. The cast is intriguing, especially with Oscar winners Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard - as well as wild-child Kate Hudson, iconic beauty Sophia Loren, Fergie, Daniel Day-Lewis and Judy Dench.

The fashions of the time are gorgeous as well - the lace gloves, ruffles, chic hats and heavy-lined eyes are all stunning. I'm super pumped to see this. I just hope that the performances are good and this is not just a movie with headlining names of celebrities to draw crowds. As mentioned in an earlier post, the state of the entertainment and dance worlds are changing and (hopefully) becoming more integrated and demanded by our society. So pumped. May have to hear a daring little side hat to see it just for fun and to be in the spirit. Maybe.
